Chiru at TANA 1993 Vs Chiru at TANA 2013

Megastar and Union Minister Chiranjeevi attended TANA celebrations for the first time as an actor in the year 1993. Late NTR also graced the occasions then. Both of them received warm welcome by the officials of TANA then. Since Chiranjeevi was the number one hero of tollywood, there were no bounds to the joy of NRIs then. 

And now, as a Union Minster for Tourism,India,Chiranjeevi attended TANA Mahasabhalu, 2013. This time he received even greater honour than in 1993. He, himself, launched the 'Mahasabhalu'.He was received by TANA officials and taken in a rally of 100 cars to the venue of Dallas. He was also felicitated by the officials. Meanwhile, 149 " Padmabhushan Kalaprapurna Megastar Dr.Chiranjeevi", gold coins went on auction. The gold coins symbolize 149 movies of Chiranjeevi. Names of one movie of Chiranjeevi was inscribed on the back of each gold coin. The amount collected through this aucion would be donated to Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.
