NTR, ANR, SV Rangarao and Savitri played the key roles in the film 'Mayabazar'. If NTR mesmerizes the audiences with his lord Srikrishna getup, it was SVR, who stole the complete show through his performance in the getup of 'Ghatotkhachudu'. ANR's romantic performance as 'Abhimanyudu' and Savitri's unbelievable magnificent performance as 'Sasirekha' are unforgettable.

Though Ghantasala composed the music of the movie, a few songs such as 'Neevena nanu talachinadi', 'Choopulu kalisina subhavela' etc. were composed by S.Rajeswara Rao. Though the movie's theme was taken from 'Mahabharatha', the story of 'Mayabazar' is said to be completely a fiction. Moreover, we can't see 'Pandavulu' in the movie. However, their presence is felt. That's the power of screen play. The movie was directed by KV Reddy. Cinematography was done by Marcus Bartley. B.Nagireddy and Chakrapani produced the movie on Vijaya Productions.
