Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Naayak' was released on 9th January, 2013 and turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. The movie collected a share of Rs.52.18 crores at the end of its full run. The movie completed its 50 days run in 55 centers directly in AP. Also, it ran 50 days in 5 centers in Karnataka which included 3 direct centers. 

Till some days ago, it was believed that the movie would run hundred days  in a few centers like Khammam and Gudiwada. However, the movie had to be terminated in those centers as the makers and the hero were not interested running the movie in deficits. As per the reports, the movie was lifted in Gudiwada on the 78th day of its release while the movie was lifted in Khammam after completion of the run of 81 days in the same theater.
