Chiddu Behind 'Vishwaroopam' Ban

Kamal Hasan seems to have become the scapegoat in Tamil Nadu politics played between two regional parties. While the Madras High court has suggested Kamal to consult the State government for finding an amicable solution, nothing of an action was initiated by CM Jayalalitha led government to please the legendary actor Kamal. Explaining the reasons behind 'Vishwaroopam' is in the centre of storn, DMK chief M Karunanidhi questioned the government on why is it not ready to resolve the crisis.

'A TV channel owned by close aides of AIADMK was willing to to buy 'Vishwaroopam' satellite rights for a low price. Having spent Rs.100 Crores, obviously Kamal refused for it and now they are taking revenge by banning the movie. In another occasion, Kamal Hasan said that a dhoti clad Tamilian (Chidambaram) should become the Prime Minister and this led to many more problems.

When Kamal himself said that he was not against Muslims, why is Tamil Nadu government such harsh on the film,' Karunanidhi questioned.
