Megastar Chiranjeevi's first industry hit 'Khaidi' was released on 28th October, 1983 and created many records then. Some of the records set by the movie are as follows.

* The movie collected a share of Rs. 4 crores and became an industry hit. Previous industry hit 'Premabhishekam' collected Rs.3.5 crores in its full run.
