For any hero, reaching the magical number of 100 will be a special moment. With ‘Srimannarayana’ as 98th followed by ‘Aditya 999’ as 99th, Balakrishna is ready to go for Century mark with an historical concept. Till last week, there were too many speculations going around this topic and now comes the clarity. Reports say none other than ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ producer Yalamanchi Sai Baba is the man going to re-build a historical dream for Balyyaa’s 100th film.

Yes, the backdrop happens to be Vijayanagara Empire set in the time period of 1300 – 1700 AD when this region was ruled by four clans viz. Sangama, Saluva, Tuluva and Aravidu. During these times, Delhi Sultanate Allauddin belonging to Khilji Dynasty has sent Muslim Warrior Malik Kafur to plunder the wealth in South. Thus came revered war kings from Vijayanagara Emprie to restore peace and unity. Although script and final story isn’t finalized, Balayya zeroed on this basic concept and Sai Baba began his basic work belonging to Art Department. As per the demand from Nandamuri Fans, mostly K. Raghavendra Rao would be the director for this magnum opus to be made on a budget of above Rs.40 Crores.
