Who killed 'Department'?

‘Department’ was highly anticipated film from Ramgopal Varma. Like every one knows, this maverick film maker cashes upon one or the other aspect of his flick has brought ‘Department’ to headlines for Rogue Style of Film Making with no professional cameraman in this team. May be that could be a reason why, audience were unable to sense anything like watching a movie in theatre although some senseless scenes were played on screen.

Other negative effect which ‘Department’ suffered before the release was damaging statements from Manchu Lakshmi, Anjana Sukhani and Abhimanyu Singh about over interest of RGV on promotion of film just using the image of sexy item bomb Nathalia Kaur while none inclusive of Rana and Sanjay Dutt are spared for publicity. Filmy buffs are murmuring that, it could be the ‘Yedupu’ of entire star cast of ‘Department’ on RGV’s cheap tricks led to killing of movie and thus is this disastrous result. At least by now, RGV should understand on a mere item number can never save the fate of a film.
