'I am not cheated like Silk Smitha'

The darker side of glamour industry is well exposed by director Milan Luthria. The hardships of heroines are well presented by taking an example in the form of Silk Smitha. Thanks that Mallu Babe Vidya Balan too did a balanced act winning the coveted Best Actress Film Fare Award. If you ask Vidya on the same about comparison of herself with experiences faced by Silk in film industry, she has an answer.   

‘Early I was a bit hesitant to take up this offer of portraying Silk. As story had a theme, so it became super hit and people have now realized how Silk Smitha is badly cheated and exploited in her life. However, my real life is totally different from what I portrayed in this film because I didn’t find any exploiters or cheats around me. Everyone was caring and co-operative,’ Vidya said.
