Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, that’s vintage William Congreve in “The Mourning Bride”.

Film producer and director Madhur Bhandarkar is beginning to taste the woman’s fury after his many successful pictures, which always have a woman in powerful roles.

Though he got respite from with the Court granting him conditional bail in the Preeti Jain rape case, the plaintiff refuses to calm down and says she neither forgets nor forgives.

Jain, a model, lodged a complaint in 2004 against Bhandarkar alleging that he raped her 16 times between 1999 and 2004 under the pretext of casting her in his films.

The case comes up for hearing on November 29.

Bhandarkar shot in to fame with his new age cinema like, Chandini  Bar which depicts the life and times of bar girls,  Page 3 on snobbish society, Fashion on what goes into modelling-the intricacies, glamour and pitfalls, besides Corporate, Jail and the more recent Dil to Bacha Hai Ji.

He had to hold his film Heroine after the pregnant Aishwarya Rai declined the role and Kareena Kapoor objected to some of the scenes. Finally, there was agreement and the film went to sets.

In real life what happens to the Bahandarkar, who made his debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s Rangeela as actor, remains to be seen.
