Mallu beauty Vidya Balan is giving her best shot to be like and behave like Silk Smitha for the film ‘Dirty Picture.’ From costumes to mannerisms, Vidya is observed to have become Silk Smitha, something similar with the way Ganga (Jyothika) became Chandrmukhi. Call it ‘Split Personality’ or what ever; South people are trying to recollect the memories of Silk Smitha in Vidya Balan.

‘Dirty Picture’ and Vidya Balan concentrate on Silk’s meteoric rise and subsequent fall as an artist. ‘I am beginning to feel like Silk. A bit slippery to talk about. Silk was made to give Indian men sleepless nights. I loved it because it was the character that we were all trying to create. Silk is every woman’s wild side. Yet, she is soft and spunky.
