Mafia Lady ready for DD!

‘Deva Dasini’ is the film from mafia leader Abu Salem’s ex-wife Monika Bedi ready for release. If everything goes as expected, we might get the Telugu version released with in this month. Sources say that ‘Deva Dasaini’ has completed the Censor formalities while director Gautham is eagerly waiting for his first film to hit the screens.

Story of the film is based on real life incident of a girl in a small village of Andhra Pradesh. The girl in subject is daughter of a Deva Dasini and villagers want her to continue the customary tradition while the girl is against it. Monika Bedi plays the role of this struggling daughter. She is known to have taken the role seriously working towards resurrecting her career after spending months of time in jail. Monika recently took part in reality shows of ‘Bigg Boss 2,’ NDTV’s ‘Desi Girl’ and recent ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja.’ It is to be seen how far this Mafia Lady uses her controversial image to promote ‘Deva Dasini.’
