When a movie is made precisely with zero budget; then we mean to say about Ramgopal Varma’s creative venture ‘Dongala Muta.’ Folded the shooting mat with in five days, the flick was released on par with Raviteja’s high budget films like ‘Mirapakay.’ One show was enough for Varma to distribute the profits with Koneru Kiran Kumar, the producer. Although movie ran in theatres for one week, none knows what sort of profits it made?

Few of media sources are trying to propagate news that Varma and Kiran got ‘Chippa’ into their hands failing to pay the rent for theatres. Does this mean, a budget less movie like ‘Dongala Muta’ can also make losses? If so, then this is a new lesson for producers and directors to learn. It could have been a brave move, if Varma has published the losses/profits made from ‘Dongala Muta’ before leaving to Mumbai.
