Payanam release suspense for Gaganam

In a turn around of sad events yesterday in Chennai, Film Nagar is buzzing that ‘Gaganam’ release is still in dilemma. As per the reports, Prakashraj and Dil Raju are producers of the movie which is titled as ‘Gaganam’ in Telugu to be released by Dil Raju and ‘Payanam’ in Tamil that is to be released by Prakashraj.

There seems to be some problems for release of ‘Payanam’ as a Chennai based financier Mahendra Kumar Jain filed a petition in the High Court of Madras seeking a stay on release of the movie until the amount os Rs. 50 Lakhs due to him is paid up. Court ordered Prakashraj either to stop the release or pay the amount or issue a security for the said sum. Till now, there is no official news from Kollywood sources about the follow up of the case. 

In worst circumstances if Prakashraj fails to bear the sum, obviously ‘Payanam’ will be stopped and one has to see how will his partner Dil Raju react on this? Wish that ‘Gaganam’ hit the screens tomorrow as scheduled without any hurdles.
