Varanasi - Bringing Different Worlds Under One Roof

SS Rajamouli has a big vision for Varanasi. The director recently spoke about the different sequences set in Antarctica, Africa, Varanasi, the time travel portions, the Ugarabati Caves and the climax. He said each sequence has its own world and challenges.

Each of these episodes sounds like a different film on its own. But bringing them together into one story is what makes Varanasi interesting. The different settings and sequences need to connect naturally without affecting the flow of the film.

Rajamouli has handled large-scale storytelling with Baahubali and RRR, but Varanasi seems to be a different experience. With so many worlds coming together, the film needs to feel like one complete story rather than several films put together.

The scale has already raised expectations. Now, it will be interesting to see how Rajamouli connects these different episodes and makes them work as one film.
