Vishwak Sen’s LEGACY Enters Final Schedule Ahead of December Release

Vishwak Sen’s upcoming Telugu film LEGACY has entered its final schedule, raising expectations around the intense political action drama. Written and directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida, the film is being produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati and Saikiran Reddy Daida under the Kalaahi Media banner, with Sanjay Sambrani and V.V.N. Prasad serving as co-producers. The makers have now begun a month long shooting schedule in and around Madanapalle in the Chittoor district. The latest schedule is expected to cover several important scenes, action sequences and songs before the team moves into the final stages of post-production. The film is targeting a worldwide theatrical release in December 2026.
LEGACY attracted attention with its announcement teaser, which hinted at a story involving politics, power and family conflict. The film follows a reluctant heir who is forced to enter a dangerous political world connected to his father and his family's past. As hidden truths come to light and powerful enemies emerge, the protagonist faces difficult choices involving loyalty, betrayal and responsibility. Vishwak Sen is expected to appear in a new and intense avatar, while veteran actor Kay Kay Menon plays a powerful antagonist. His presence is likely to add further weight to the central conflict, particularly as the story explores the struggle between inherited power and an individual's desire to create his own identity.
The film features a large ensemble cast including Murali Mohan, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar, Ekta Rathod, Raja Ravindra, Rajeev Kanakala, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Khushee Ravi, Kalyani Natarajan, Collector Srinivas, Ravi Kaale and Amit Tiwari, among others. The technical department includes cinematographer Jiju Sunny, composer Govind Vasantha, editor Sirish Prasad and production designer Rajeev Nair. Action choreography is being handled by Jashuva, while Sync Cinema is responsible for the sound design. The film will also feature Dolby Atmos sound, with E. Radhakrishna handling the final mixing at Prasad Mixing Theatre. The combination of political drama, action, music and emotional family conflict is expected to give the project a strong commercial appeal.
LEGACY is also significant for Kalaahi Media as its second production after Pindam, which was directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida. With the final schedule now underway, the makers are expected to focus on completing the remaining portions and post-production work before announcing further promotional material. The central theme appears to revolve around whether a family's legacy should simply be inherited or challenged and rewritten. With Vishwak Sen in the lead, Kay Kay Menon as the antagonist and a December theatrical release planned, LEGACY is shaping up as one of the actor’s more ambitious upcoming projects.
