Stars keen to break records with the sequels

Stars keen to break records with the sequels. Of late Indian cinema is witnessing a wave of franchise films. Most of the filmmakers are coming with two or three parts. They are keen to create a brand with the first part and then cash in to the craze with the second part in the name of sequels.
Now, Tollywood stars are eyeing sequels to break records and create a sensation. Prashanth Varma as a part of cinematic universe (PVCU), is coming with Jai Hanuman, sequel to the hit film HanuMan. Craze is huge as Kantara fame Rishab Shetty is playing the role of Hanuman and Rana is playing a key role.
Nikhil and Chandoo Mondeti are coming with Karthikeya3. Expectations are high as the film's first two parts turned out to be big hits. A sequel to the superhit film is safe considering the business aspects. The theatrical and digital, satellite and audio rights will get huge deals. At the same time, the quality should be better than the first part or else everything will boomerang. So the producers are not compromising on the budgets.
Prabhas is busy with two high-profile sequels, Salaar Shouryanga Parvam and Kalki2898AD. Allu Arjun is set to come with Pushpa The rampage and NTR with Devara 2. It has to be seen how many will break records at the box office.
