&nbsp;Raaj Kamal Films International, owned by Kamal Haasan, filed a cyber fraud complaint in Chennai. Unidentified fraudsters impersonated a company producer on WhatsApp and tried to cheat ₹38.50 lakh from employee Murali Krishnan. Police say the scam targeted the banner producing films with Rajinikanth and Sivakarthikeyan.The incident began on July 2 when Murali’s number was blocked, and he got messages from new numbers. The fraudsters used the producer’s real profile photo to look genuine. They urgently asked him to transfer ₹38.50 lakh to a bank account, claiming it was for official production work. &nbsp; Murali grew suspicious when asked for the transfer purpose and got no reply. He stopped the payment and submitted WhatsApp screenshots to the Chennai Police Commissioner’s Office. He also requested the freezing of linked bank accounts. The Cyber Crime Wing has registered a case and started tracing the numbers.Police warn this is a common trick in the film industry where scammers copy officials’ DP and tone. The story offered nothing new as many films came in the recent past highlighting the power of God and how ultimately he eliminates the evil forces who try to wreak havoc to posses the supreme powers.Films like Mirai and Hanuman turned out to be hits and of late many filmmakers are trying to milk people's interest in Sanatana Dharma and the secrets with dialogues pertaining to them but most of them are failing in their mission. If mythological and elements on God in a story comes naturally then it will connect chords with the people. However, all the so called Sanatana elements are forced and this ends up testing the patience of the viewers.Nagabandham also fell in the second category unfortunately. There is no clarity how the hero became the protector of the all powerful Brahma Kamalam right from the first half. The film lacked the drive and direction and it drifted in various directions and the screenplay turned out to be topsy turvy. Emotions play a key role in the films and the film lacked them completely. Only when emotions are strong and realistic, natural, it will help in taking forward the drama or action sequences.With emotions missing , the scenes come and go one after another and viewers are left wondering what was happening. The extreme violence in the marriage looked totally unnecessary and unwanted except for the gory scenes which the director felt would have made an impact on the viewers emotionally.Though the first half had no story, visuals are extravagant and the interval bang covered all the loopholes setting the stage for the second half. However the second half turned out to be extremely slow and all the characters turned unnecessarily loud shouting at the top of their voices. Director included family scenes revolving around children but none of them created an impact. The flashback episode lacked clarity and it is also filled with mindless violence.The climax action episode itself came to more than 30 minutes and the story revolved around it but none of them connected chords with the viewers. Everything goes with loud shouts and intense and senseless action. On top of it, they gave immense torture with irrelevant dialogues on Sanatana Dharma.The background score tuned by Junaid Kumar elevated the scenes to the next level creating the maximum impact. However, at times it turned loud and routine. The cinematography of Soundar Rajan S is top class. The VFX and CGI are of top class most of the time, except in few scenes where they looked pale and substandard.Junaid Kumar - Abhe's songs acted as speed breaks to the narration. Except for the Namo song, others failed to impress and some songs came with in 2-3 minutes gap. Editing left a lot to be desired, especially in the second half. Director Abhishek Nama depended only on extravagant visuals and over the top dialogues on Sanatana Dharma and action sequences surrounding them but failed to come with strong story. He failed completely with his screenplay and direction. His script turned out to be senseless and he should have reworked on it completely. Everything turned senseless and mindless in the name of Sanatana Dharma. He and other filmmakers should realize that loud dialogues on Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism will not give them guaranteed blockbuster at the box office. It increases with the passage of time and reaches its peak in the second half. The interval comes as a break from this torture. The story lacks basic emotions and everything looks artificial.Everyone passes through the motions and the director's cheap taste is revealed when he showed the rape scene in detail even though it was shown initially. There are many such scenes and that include the CM candidate directing her aides to molest her to gain sympathy. Finally viewers heave a sigh of relief when the film comes to an end.Vijay Mukthavarapu's didn't get much scope to showcase his talent. The series has six episodes and each has a duration of around 30 minutes. The narration starts with an interesting and unexpected twist. The scenes in heaven and the swap generate the curiosity levels. The confusion generated entertains with hilarious acts in the first three episodes.The fourth episode takes it to new level with the entertainment and hilarious content. The unraveling of the twists attracts all but from the fifth episode the entertainment takes back seat with thought provoking scenes and few message-oriented dialogues. The final episode ends on an emotional note. At times the fun scenes did not generate the desired result as there are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the film. Compared to the first two seasons, there is more entertainment content in this and so viewers can enjoy. However, some dialogues crossed the line and this makes viewers uneasy.Sriram Madduri's music is decent and the background music added value to the narration. Vishweswar's cinematography is good with rich visuals. The editing of Shravan Katikaneni is ok but could have been more better. The narration starts in a predictable and simple manner, introducing various characters and the ordeal of a newlywed girl at her in-laws' house. The proceedings though offer nothing new and manage to entertain viewers with hilarious scenes before the action blocks emerge.Though Samantha performed well in the action blocks, the scenes fell flat due to a lack of intensity. The runup to the interval block that includes the flashback turns out to be the biggest drawback. With the passage of time, the first half turns underwhelming as emotions fail to connect with Samantha's current and past happenings.From then on, the second half revolves around how the protagonist achieves success overcome all the obstacles. The complete second half turns out to be predictable and lacks the real twists and turns. None of the scenes excites, and even the actors seem to have passed through the motions.The so-called twist, similar to a hit film, didn't offer anything new. But few scenes enthrall viewers, turning the film into a decent one.Santosh Narayanan's music is attractive. He used Muthyala Muggu song in an entertaining way. The second half starts in the similar manner and just when viewers are left to wonder, where the film is heading, the introduction of Vijay Antony turned out tobe the added advantage.He with his screen presence took the film to another level. The screenplay also turned racy and after the predictable pre climax, the climax turned out to be different. Mandlekar. The writers did extensive research on the happenings during the 90s across the globe and the situation prevalent in India. He started the narration in an interesting manner and from then on he maintained a steady pace through out the film till the end.The developments in the then Government, RBI, political circles, opposition parties and how common people reacted are depicted in a perfect and effective manner. The measures taken by the RBI and the opposition faced by the governor during the meetings and the pressures from the government and the coalition politics is highlighted in an interesting way with the tight screenplay. The first half ends with the challenges of the governor becoming bigger and the second half shows how the RBI staff and top officials as a team join hands to convince the government against all odds to take strong decisions and maintain secrecy so that the people's trust will not be broken down or shattered. Law suit against Queen 2. Kangana Ranaut is coming to entertain movie lovers with her upcoming film Queen 2. The film is generating immense interest as it is the sequel to the hit film Queen. The sequel shoot has been already wrapped and in the midst of all this the makers got a huge shock.Phantom Studios which bankrolled the original filed Rs250crs law suit against Jio Hotstar which is bankrolling the sequel alleging that it is an unauthorised sequel. Vikas Bahl who directed the original is directing the sequel.Phantom Studios filled copyright infringement of intellectual property case against the sequel makers at the Bombay High Court.A source shared "Their non action is what has led to Phantom Studios suing them for infringement.
