Chiyaan Vikram's long delayed film Dhruva Natchathiram finally got a huge relief when the High Court set a deadline for the film release.
Dhruva Natchathiram finally got the green singal from the Madras High Court as the film landed in various disputes. Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy ordered the opening of a dedicated account in a scheduled bank in the name of the production house, Kondaduvom Entertainment, for the purpose of carrying out all necessary monetary transactions required to get the movie released at the earliest.
The court directed the makers to release the film by 15 June 2026. The judge also appointed an advocate to oversee the transactions since the film’s director and also co-producer Gautam Vasudev Menon had to receive funds from certain investors and utilise those funds to settle the dues to some creditors before the release of the movie.
It was investors K. Punniamoorthy and K. Premkumar who had approached the High Court in 2023 to restrain the release of the movie until their dues were settled. The applicants had also obtained an interim injunction against the release of the movie thereby delaying its release for years together.
The film is made in two parts and it is directed by Gautam Menon. The film stars Ritu Varma as the female lead while Parthiban, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran, Radhika, Arjun Das, and Divyadarshini are playing important roles.Harris Jayaraj is the music director for the film produced by Ondraga Entertainment, Kondaduvom Entertainment, and Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
