Trouble over Jetlee release
Jetlee release hits a roadblock
Satya's Jetlee directed by Ritesh Rana is releasing on 1 May 2026. Expectations are high on the project in the aftermath of the hilarious teaser and trailer.
However, the makers got a last minute shock as theatres in Telangana refused to screen Jetlee following the Active Producers Guild rejecting 60-50-40 percentage-sharing model, and Mythri Movie Makers.
SVC's The Asian chain & theatres, AMB Cinemas, AAA Cinemas along with single screen theatres didnot yet open the bookings. As top banners opposed this precentage sharing model, all the films of top banners will be facing this problem unless resolved.
TFCC and Producers Guild are at logger heads and while TFCC feels this model will help the single screens, Producers Guild feels that this will impact their revenue.
Jetlee in the meantime stars Vennela Kishore, Ajay,Viva Harsha, and Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles. The music for the film is tuned by Kaala Bhairava.
