Dhanush to team with Venky Atluri

Dhanush is renowned for his versatile performances and he is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Kara. The film directed by Vignesh Raja is slated for a grand release on 30 April 2026.

At the pre release event of the Telugu version yesterday which was graced by Tollywood director Venky Atluri, Dhanush came up with the following request. He said “Venky, you told me one story and then disappeared. Bring that story back, let's do it"

It is known that Dhanush and Venky Atluri came up with SIR/ Vaathi which turned out to be a super hit. Dhanush's speech at the pre release event excited all and now speculation is on as to when Dhanush and Venky Atluri will team again.

In the meantime, Kara stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead while GV.Prakash Kumar is the music director. The film stars K S Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas and Prithvi Pandira in important roles.
