Versatile actress Samyuktha is entering one of the boldest phases of her career with The Black Gold, a gritty, female-led action drama mounted on a pan-India scale. Known for her strong performances and a streak of successful films, Samyuktha takes centre stage in this hard-hitting narrative directed by Yogesh KMC. Produced by Razesh Danda under Hasya Movies in collaboration with Maganti Pictures.
Set in the coal mines along the Telangana–Maharashtra border, the plot follows a police officer who values the law more than the gun in her hand. The story boldly explores one of India’s most sensational coal syndicates, reportedly involving even a Chief Minister, adding serious weight to the premise.
The makers unveiled a powerful new poster where Samyuktha looks fierce in front of a massive industrial machine. With sunglasses on and a gun by her side, she carries danger like it’s part of her daily job as dust swirls around her. The film was shot across Mancherial, Bellampalli, Kagaznagar, and Adilabad, along with specially erected sets in Hyderabad.
In a major feat, the team wrapped the entire production in just 60+ working days. Five power-packed schedules were executed across 10+ realistic sets with 300+ crew members on the ground daily. A making video released by the team shows the grit and determination behind the shoot, which used two cameras daily and up to five cameras for major action blocks. The Black Gold_ sets a new benchmark for action in heroine-led films. The action sequences are mounted on a scale rarely seen in this space, and completing such a high-intensity project in just 60 days is a huge achievement.
