All the noise around Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next with director Bobby Kolli has finally been cleared. Over the last few days, social media was flooded with talk that KVN Productions had backed out of #Mega158 or #ChiruBobby2, or that they were hunting for co-producers to split costs. Fans got worried, trade pages started speculating, and the rumor mill went into overdrive.
But KVN Productions has now stepped in and called all of it baseless. The banner made it clear they’re fully committed to the project and asked everyone to stop believing unverified news. For Chiru fans, that’s a big relief. #Mega158 is a huge deal for a reason. This is Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli’s second film together after the 2023 blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, which was a Sankranthi winner and crossed big numbers at the box office.
KVN Productions, which is also backing Vijay’s farewell film Jana Nayagan aka Jana Nayakudu in Telugu, is treating this as one of its most prestigious ventures. Industry insiders say the scale is massive, and the combo itself has created strong pre-release buzz. The rumors started because KVN has multiple big-budget films lined up, and some reports claimed the banner was reworking finances.
But the makers have now set the record straight, everything is proceeding as planned. Sources close to the team say pre-production is in full swing and an official pooja/muhurtham date will be announced soon. Social media handles tracking Tollywood also noted that Bobby is fine-tuning the script to match Chiranjeevi’s mass image while adding fresh elements.
