Peddi Eyeing June 25 Release as Buzz Gets Stronger

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s much-awaited sports drama Peddi is finally inching closer to a release date, and fans can’t keep calm. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is set against a rural backdrop and has been in the news for all the right reasons. Right now, patchwork is going on and the team is gearing up to shoot a special item number in the first week of May featuring Ram Charan and Shruti Haasan on a massive set.
The makers had earlier said the film will hit theatres in June, but the exact date was kept under wraps. Two dates June 4 and June 25 were being discussed, and now strong buzz says the team has locked June 25, 2026 for the worldwide release. Trade circles also say distributors have already been informed and groundwork has begun. There’s even talk of grand paid premieres on June 24, a day before the official release, to kick things off in style.
Peddi has Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady, AR Rahman scoring the music, and is jointly bankrolled by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings. The film’s rural sports theme, Buchi Babu’s emotional storytelling, and Ram Charan’s rugged new look have already created huge curiosity.
Industry insiders hint that the release was pushed from early June to avoid clashes with Toxic and to give the team more time to finish the pending song and post-production. Let's wait for official confirmation poster.
