Question marks over summer entertainment with doubts over releases
Summer is filled with Release Dates Suspense
Summer plays an important role in giving entertainment to the movie lovers. All the top stars films will be releasing during summer as it coincides with the summer holidays to schools. However, now the makers of most of the highly anticipated films are yet to finalise the films release dates increasing doubts over them.
Already theatres are wearing forlorn and deserted looks and if this continues, tensions will increase among all. Most of the films changed the release dates quite frequently and this trend increased after Corona. Ram Charan's Peddi and Nani's The Paradise postponed their release dates due to delay in shoots. Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara is silent over its release.
Akhil's Lenin got postponed for Peddi and Peddi changed its release date from 30 Apri to June. Toxic got postponed and locked the film's release as 4 June. But still doubts are over on all these films. NTR's Dragon got delayed and it is not clear when it will be finished and it the screens and same is the case with Prabhas' Fauji. It has to be sseen whether Fauji will release during Dasara or not. Allu Arjun and Atlee's Raaka release date is not yet finalised.
In the meantime, films like Samantha's Maa Inti Bangaram, Varun Tej's Korean Kanakaraju and Nikhil's Swayambu are planning to hit the screens. Many feel that the release dates doubts are increasing due to extensive usage of VFX and CGI in the films. To the top of it, huge budgets and extravagant sets are delaying the releases. In between, strikes by various unions are also impacting the release dates.
