Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash's Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari is the cynosure of all eyes. The film is releasing in two parts and it is made with a whopping budget and has a starcast of Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and others in key roles.
Now, producer Namit Malhotra speaking to scribes, came up with a bold take on Ranbir Kapoor. He said "From watching our fathers share meals and laughter to now, four decades later, coming together to tell one of the greatest epics of all time, it’s been quite a journey."
He continued "There is no one better to portray Lord Rama. You are, without doubt, the finest actor of our generation," He said "We want to take Ramayana to the world. In 100-plus years of films, we’ve never made a mark in the West. We make 1000 plus films a year; they may see and respect our films. It’s not that our films are any less; we make outstanding films,"
He added "There are Indians all over the world. We should not be divisive; that’s where we go wrong on Ramayana. There’s no division, it’s one world, one Ramayana and one Rama,"
