Mrunal Thakur is currently winning the appreciation of all with her performance in Adivi Sesh's Dacoit. Tollywood movie lovers are earlier mesmerised with her performances in Sitaramam and Hi Nanna.
But she is now trolled badly after the first look of her upcoming Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai went viral. The film starred Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde along with Mrunal Thakur in the lead.
Director David Dhawan says "It is her choice and freedom and I wish she ignores social media banter," He continued 'maintaining a certain image in one language does not necessarily mean she must follow the same path everywhere."
He continued "Probably, her earlier comments at a Telugu press interaction have now resurfaced, adding fuel to the ongoing debate around her choices,"
