Appalraju runs away from Sankranthi

As expected earlier, Ramgopal Varma showed his clever tactics postponing the release of ‘Katha Screenplay Darshakathvam Appalraju’ from Sankranthi time to almost February. Reasons for the postponement are better known to Varma and media reports confirm that ‘Appalraju’ has no place to stand in Sankranthi race, decreasing the competition.

With big movies like Parama Veera Chakra, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Nenu Naa Rakshasi slated for release in the same time, Varma could have definitely sensed the heavy competition and feared about the possibility of his ‘Appalraju’ work going unrecognized made him run away from the competition, say media sources.
