Aditya Dhar Warns action against AI-fabricated Images Of Dhurandhar 2

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has issued a strong warning against individuals circulating AI-generated and other manipulated visuals of his film 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', starring Ranveer Singh. The move comes after a viral image showed Ranveer Singh's character smoking while wearing a turban, sparking controversy and hurting Sikh sentiments.

Aditya Dhar clarified that the image is completely fabricated and doesn't form part of the film or any official material. He emphasized that the portrayal in the film has been handled with utmost sensitivity, dignity, and responsibility, and any attempt to suggest otherwise is malicious and dishonest.

The controversy began after Gurjyot Singh Keer, president of Sikhs in Maharashtra, accused the film's team of disrespecting Gurbani and hurting Sikh sentiments. R Madhavan also issued a clarification, stating that he had put out the cigarette before reciting lines from Guru Gobind Singh's Dasam Granth.

Aditya Dhar urged audiences to rely only on official content and watch the film as intended, warning that such acts of misrepresentation will be dealt with firmly. The film has crossed Rs 1,000 crore at the worldwide box office, achieving this feat in just 7 days.
