Balakrishna honored at IFFD2026

Balakrishna honored at IFFD2026. Natasimha Balakrishna, Hindupur MLA and the renowned star got another rare honor. According to the latest, the organisers of IFFD2026 honored him with the life time achievement award.

Balakrishna received the award from Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and it is a proud moment for all his fans and entire Tollywood. Balakrishna is not only known for his mass action entertainers but also for his yeoman service to the society through various trusts and as the MLA of Hindupur constituency.

The International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026 opened in an extravagant manner at Bharat Mandapam , in Delhi. Many celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur, Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Lauren Gottlieb, Anupam Kher, Sharmila Tagore, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Subhash Ghai, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Arvind Swamy, and Ajay Bijli  walked on the red carpet.

The festival kickstarted with the tribute to the national song Vande Mataram which completed 150 years. Hon'ble Chief Minister Rekha Gupta opened the festival with the lighting of the lamp while Hon'ble Ministers Kapil Mishra and Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, actors Hema Malini, Kangana Ranaut, and Sharmila Tagore, and other dignitaries accompanied her.

Apart from Balakrishna, actors  Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra,  were honored with the lifetime achievement award in honour of their lasting contributions to Indian cinema.
