Fatwa against Nora Fatehi. Following the KD-The Devil song controversy, Norah Fatehi who starred in the film now faced the wrath of Muslims.

A Fatwa has been issued in UP against Nora Fatehi. Muslim Personal Darul Ifta in Aligarh, issued a fatwa against Nora after the song received online backlash over its lyrics.

The fatwa was issued by Chief Mufti Maulana Ebrahim Hussain, who found issue with ‘explicit and vulgar’ visuals of the song. He said that the alleged use of explicit and "vulgar" visuals in the song, featuring Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi, makes it objectionable under Islamic teachings. He termed such content haram and a gunah-e-kabira (grave sin), adding that participation in or promotion of such material goes against religious principles.

Dhruva Sarja stars in KD-The Devil directed by Prem. The film is releasing on 30 April 2026.  The film stars Ramesh Aravind, V. Ravichandran, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Reeshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta, and Nora Fatehi in important roles.
