Filmmaker on arresting Social Media bullies. The other day, Telangana Cyber Cell arrested a youtuber Kotipalli Venkanna, a security guard who posted obscene comments and messages on Social Media targeting Renu Desai, former wife of AP Dy CM Pawan Kalyan after receiving her complaint. Often, celebrities are targeted by netizens by vulgar comments and obscene posts on Social Media.

Many times, cops warned people against posting abusive and offensive comments on Social Media. In the midst of all this, director Ashok Teja shared his views over it. He said “Social Media bullying must be curbed. The government has been issuing repeated warnings, and now we are finally seeing strict action being implemented.”

He added “It is evident that the police departments are very clear about enforcing Social Media regulations. Despite repeated warnings, some individuals continue such antisocial behaviour. It is encouraging to see that they are now facing consequences.”
