Kamal is an added advantage to Kalki 2898 AD sequel

Kamal screen presence to propel Kalki 2898 AD sequel. Prabhas' Kalki 2898AD sequel is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of Nag Ashwin. The film stars legends like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Producer Lagadapati Sridhar speaking to scribes says Kamal Haasan's presence in the project is an added advantage. He says “His brief yet powerful appearance left a strong impression on Telugu audiences,” He adds “He may have accepted the first part despite the short screen time because the sequel likely excited him. Kamal Haasan plays a man who is around 180 years old, and perhaps the meatier role in the second part intrigued him, and he began his work for the sequel.”

He said “Telugu audiences made Vikram a big success where he played an ex-cop, while his gangster film Thug Life did not perform well.”

On Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth's project, he said "It will be much-awaited in Telugu states."
