Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha locked for July 10 theatrical release

The wait is finally over for Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's highly anticipated film, Alpha. The makers have announced that the movie will hit theatres on July 10, 2026. The official Instagram handle of Yash Raj Films shared a teaser poster featuring Alia Bhatt's bruised look, creating a sense of intrigue and intensity.

The poster showcases Alia Bhatt and Sharvari going toe-to-toe against Bobby Deol in a brutal showdown. Alpha marks Alia's first film with Yash Raj Films and is touted as India's first female-led action film. The movie is directed by Shiv Rawail, known for his work on The Railway Men, and produced by Aditya Chopra.

Alpha was initially scheduled to release on December 25, 2025, but was postponed to April 17, 2026, due to VFX work. The film promises to deliver action sequences that audiences have never seen before, with Alia and Sharvari pulling off intense stunts.

The film's cast includes Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, with Hrithik Roshan making a cameo appearance as Kabir. Alpha is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which has produced successful franchises like Pathaan and War. 

With the release date confirmed, fans are eagerly waiting to see Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's action-packed performance. The teaser of Alpha was unveiled as post credit scenes in YRF last year spy verse film WAR 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR.
