Kiara Advani Rumoured Biopic Role Leaves Fans Guessing

There's buzz around Kiara Advani potentially playing Madhubala in an upcoming biopic, but the situation remains unclear. Some media reports claim she's been locked in for the role, while others call it "baseless," leaving fans wondering what's true. The biographical drama on Madhubala, a Hindi cinema icon, has been in development, with Jasmeet K Reen expected to direct and Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly on board as producer.

However, an industry source has dismissed these claims, stating there's "absolutely no truth" to Kiara Advani being cast in the Madhubala biopic, calling the reports "completely baseless and speculative". Interestingly, Kiara's name is also linked to another biopic on Meena Kumari, titled Kamal Aur Meena, which will explore her complex relationship with filmmaker Kamal Amrohi.

The project is said to be based on nearly 500 handwritten letters and will cover Meena Kumari's life between the 1950s and 1970s. Kiara had earlier hinted at considering a biopic project, saying she's excited about a story that speaks to her soul. For now, it's unclear which biopic Kiara will take up, keeping fans guessing.
