CM Revanth Reddy To Inaugurate Netflix Hyderabad Office

Netflix is set to expand its presence in India with a new office in Hyderabad, inaugurated by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on March 12. This marks Netflix's second office in India, following its Mumbai location, and is expected to strengthen the city's growing animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics (AVGC) ecosystem.

The 30,000 sq ft facility will create new employment opportunities for young professionals with creative and technological skills, and encourage advanced skilling programs in animation, VFX, and digital production. Hyderabad has emerged as a key hub for digital entertainment technology, attracting global studios and creative companies.

The move aligns with the Telangana government's vision to promote innovation and strengthen the creative industry ecosystem. Several globally recognized VFX and entertainment companies, including Warner Bros., Disney, and Ubisoft, already operate from Hyderabad.

The city's recent adoption of advanced filmmaking technologies, such as the M&M Cap Lab motion capture facility at Annapurna Studios, positions it as a leading hub for film production, visual effects, and digital storytelling. With Netflix's new office, Hyderabad is poised to become a major center for digital content creation, boosting the AVGC sector and solidifying its reputation as a creative technology hub.
