Sivakarthikeyan Parasakthi OTT Streaming Date

Parasakthi, a Tamil period political drama starring Sivakarthikeyan, is set to stream on ZEE5 from February 7, 2026. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film explores the anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu during the 1965 protests. The story revolves around Sivakarthikeyan's character, Chezhiyan, a railway employee, and his brother, played by Atharvaa, who protests against the Centre's rule. 

The film features a star-studded cast, including Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Rana Daggubati, with music scored by GV Prakash. Made on a budget of ₹150-250 crore, Parasakthi collected 100 crore at the worldwide box office, receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The OTT rights were sold to ZEE5 for ₹52 crore, making it a career high business for Sivakarthikeyan. 

Parasakthi marks Sivakarthikeyan's 25th film and GV Prakash's 100th music composition. The film's digital debut is highly anticipated, given its strong cast and crew. With its thought-provoking themes and engaging storyline, Parasakthi is expected to resonate with audiences on OTT platforms. Earlier like Karthi's Vaa Vaathiyaar, Parasakthi too planned to release in Telugu too but skips Telugu release and is now going to stream with Telugu audio directly on OTT.

With music scored by GV Prakash, Parasakthi marks his 100th film and Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th movie. It is to be noted that the period drama was first announced with Suriya onboard along with Vijay Varma, Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Fahadh. However, with Suriya opting out, a fresh cast was brought onboard and made the film.
