Vijay father on Jana Nayagan censor row. Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan directed by H.Vinoth which was supposed to hit the screens on 9 Jan 2026 got embroiled in the censor controversy.

This delayed the film and ambiguity is over the film's release. In the meantime, Vijay's father SA.Chandrasekhar, reacted on the censor row. He said  “The people know what happened in Karur. Vijay is not afraid of anything. His chances of success are bright. It is normal for those entering politics for the first time to face obstacles. Vijay will face any number of such obstacles.”

He continued  "After Vijay entered politics, young people and women are discussing politics. They are more articulate than me,"

Jana Nayagan starred Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju in key roles with Anirudh Ravichander being the music director. . Jana Nayagan is produced by Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions, and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK.
