Dhanush D55 Offers A New Musical Collaboration

Tamil Star Hero Dhanush has teamed up with music sensation Sai Abhyankkar for his upcoming film, D55. The announcement was made by Wunderbar Films, Dhanush's production banner, on January 29, 2026. Sai Abhyankkar, known for his indie hits like "Katchi Sera" and "Aasa Kooda", has made a stellar debut in Tamil cinema with Pradeep Ranganathan's "Dude". The film's "Oorum Blood" song was a major hit, showcasing Abhyankkar's talent.

D55 marks a new collaboration between Dhanush and Sai Abhyankkar, with the composer bringing his unique style to the project. The film is a joint production of Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios, with Rajkumar Periasamy directing. Sai Abhyankkar has several other projects lined up, including "Benz", a Raghava Lawrence-starrer part of the LCU, Suriya's "Karuppu" directed by RJ Balaji, and Karthi's "Marshal" helmed by Tamizh.

Sai Abhyankkar is making waves in the music industry with his impressive portfolio. Apart from D55, he's working on Allu Arjun's highly anticipated film with Atlee, "AA22xA6", and Silambarasan TR's "STR 49" directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The young composer's ability to infuse memorable tunes with contemporary rhythms has earned him recognition in the industry.

Dhanush, known for his versatility, has several projects in the pipeline, including "Kara" directed by Vignesh Raja and an untitled project with Mari Selvaraj, which will feature music by AR Rahman. With D55, fans can expect a unique blend of storytelling and music.
