Salman planning biopic on his dad. Salman Khan's father Salim Khan is a well known persona in the Indian film industry. He is nearing 90s and in the meantime it is coming out that Salman Khan is planning a biopic and pay a unique tribute to his dad.

A close friend shares “Salman doesn’t want to wait till after Salim saab is no more. He wants to make a film on his father during Salim saab’s lifetime. He knows everything there is to know about Salim saab; more inputs will come from the patriarch himself,”

A source shared that Salman himself will direct the biopic and added “He won’t allow anyone else to do it,” . The project is expected to go into production in early 2027.

The biopic, will highlight Salim Khan’s journey as an actor, and go on to his association with Javed Akhtar, will include both his wives in its scope. Inside talk Salman himself will reprise his role in the biopic. But Salman is reluctant to don all the responsibilities.
