Baa Baa Black Sheep Teaser Offers A Stylish Crime Comedy

Sharwanand recently unveiled the teaser of the stylish crime comedy 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', produced by Venu Donepudi under Chitralayam Studios banner. Directed by Guni Manchikanti, the film features an ensemble cast including Tinnu Anand, Upendra Limaye, George Marian, Akshay Lagusani, Vishnu Oi, Karthikeya, and Vismaya Sri. The teaser hints at a story involving guns, gold, and a city wide funny hunt with six individuals.

The plot revolves around a flamboyant gangster, misfit friends, eccentric criminals, and a chaotic city-wide chase sparked by the discovery of Mahatma Gandhi's 'missing watch'. As the narrative progresses, characters navigate through high-stakes battles, unfolding a story of greed and crime. 

Producer Venu highlights that witty dialogues and situational irony are key to the film, blending crime plot with wit and comedy mishaps. 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' is the first film to be shot entirely in Meghalaya, showcasing the state's picturesque locations and dramatic landscapes. The production house partnered with the Meghalaya government for a hassle free shooting experience. 

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma praised 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' as a landmark in bolstering the state's creative economy and tourism sector. The film is currently in post-production, with makers looking at a summer release.
