Pooja Hegde Shares Early Career On Set Experience

Pooja Hegde, a leading actress in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema, has recently spoken out about a troubling experience from the early stages of her career. As her popularity was rising, she joined a major pan India film project and was excited to work alongside a top star, considering it a significant milestone.

However, during the shoot, a male co actor entered Pooja Hegde's caravan without her permission, violating her personal space and causing her significant discomfort and anxiety. This incident, which occurred at a time when she was still establishing herself in the industry, left a lasting impression on her and shaped how she approaches her work on set. 

Pooja Hegde’s decision to share this story publicly has brought attention to the importance of personal boundaries and consent in the film industry.  Pooja recounted that she confronted the co actor and firmly asked him to leave her caravan, making it clear that such behavior was unacceptable, regardless of his status or fame. 

Following this confrontation, Pooja Hegde did not share screen space with the actor again, and her remaining scenes were completed using a body double. Although she chose not to disclose the name of the actor or the specific project, her candidness has sparked renewed discussions about professionalism, consent, and safety on film sets.
