Sankranti 2026 releases winner decided

Sankranti 2026 Tollywood winner decided. Well ahead of the festival of Sankranti, Tollywood movie lovers are treated with different genre films from top stars to young heroes. Now that all the films hit the screens, the winner of Sankranti 2026 has been decided.

The Raja Saab

Sankranti celebrations kickstarted with Pan India Star Prabhas's first ever horror film The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi hit the screens one week ahead on 9 Jan 2026. The film which released amidst huge expectations failed miserably. Prabhas' tremendous following got the film record openings but once the talk came out it all fizzled out. The Raja Saab collections came down crashing.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu

Mega Star Chiranjeevi entered the race turning Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film hit the screens on 12 January and expectations soared as Chiranjeevi after a long time did a hilarious entertainer and Anil Ravipudi is on a success run at the box office.

The film drove all crazy with Anil Ravipudi casting a magic spell showing Chiranjeevi in evercharming and youthful looks and also elevating his dances, mannerisms and stunts and style statements bringing back the memories of Vintage Chiranjeevi. Nayanthara's screen presence and Venkatesh's powerful cameo captured the imagination of all.

The film right from the premiers opened up to unanimous positive talk and already entered into Rs 150crs club and the collections are soaring. Analysts say the film may gross Rs 500-600crs at the box office.

Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi

Mass Raja Raviteja after the reverses at the box office came up with Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi directed by Kishore Tirumala. The film hit the screens on 13 Jan 2026. Raviteja toned down his rhetoric and came up with a subtle performance. Raviteja's performance won the hearts and the film got decent talk at the box office. However the film's collections dipped and the result of previous films impacted his latest outing. The film is down sliding at the box office.

Anaganaga Oka Raju

Naveen Polishetty came up with Anaganaga Oka Raju and expectations are high as Naveen Polishetty is on high scoring hits with Jathi Rathnalu, Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya and Miss Shetty and Mr Polishetty. The film directed by newcomer Mari hit the screens on 14 Jan 2026. Naveen penned the story himself. The film lacked the story and banking on Naveen's gags, the film got positive talk.

Nari Nari Naduma Murari

Charming Star Sharwanand after the reverses came up with Nari Nari Naduma Murari. With the film directed by Ram Abbaraju of Samajavaragamana fame, expectations increased. The film which released on 14 Jan 2026 got unanimous positive talk for the clean comedy and hilarious elements. Naresh's comedy is turning out to be the highlight in the film.

So Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu emerged the Sankranti winner and Sharwanand's Nari Nari Naduma Murari is set to give tough fight for it. Naveen Polishetty's Anaganaga Oka Raju turns out to the third option for the movie lovers.
