Prabhas's latest film, The Raja Saab, hit theaters on January 9, and despite mixed reviews, it earned approximately ₹112 crores GBOC on its first day. Interestingly, Prabhas took a voluntary pay cut of 33% for this project, reportedly receiving ₹100 crore instead of his usual ₹150 crore fee. This decision aimed to enhance the film's production quality, allocating more funds to sets, visual effects, and other production costs.

The cast's remuneration details reveal hefty paychecks for the actors. Malavika Mohanan received ₹2 crore, while Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani took home ₹5-6 crore and ₹1 crore, respectively. Nidhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar were paid ₹1.5 crore and ₹1 crore each. Director Maruthi received ₹18 crore for working on the film for three years.

Despite the star-studded cast and high production value, The Raja Saab underperformed at the box office compared to Prabhas's previous release, Kalki 2898 AD, which earned ₹191 crore on its first day. A sequel, Rajasaab Circus 1935, which is expected to feature him in dual roles is also announced during the climax of the film itself, which is highly unlikely to be happened.

The film is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, marking Malavika Mohanan's Telugu debut. Thaman has composed the music. Karthik Palani acted as Cinematographer. Jarina Wahab, Sathya, Sapthagiri, Prabhas Srinu and VTV Ganesh played other roles.
