Swedish DJ accuse Thaman of copying Nache Nache in The Raja Saab

The makers of Prabhas' The Raja Saab included the remix version of the yesteryear hit song Nache Nache from the Hindi film Disco Dancer. The song it self is a copy of Western song The Video Killed The Audio Star.

Now, Swedish DJ and music producer Vidojin alleged the Thaman's new version resembled that of his private song “Naache Naache Beat,” which he released in 2024.

He showed slippers in the video expressing his displeasure and also asked the music lovers to compare both the tracks. He however didnot criticise Prabhas in his video. However, Thaman speaking to scribe said “I don’t like doing remix songs. I would have preferred a completely new, racy number like ‘Kurichi Madathapetti,” Thaman said. “But this particular song was already etched into the script. When director Maruthi and the producers felt that a retro remix suited the situation — where the hero meets three heroines at the same time — I agreed and did it without further discussion.”
