First Look Of Blood Soaked Shahid Kapoor In O Romeo

Shahid Kapoor has dropped the first look of his upcoming film O'Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The poster showcases Kapoor in a fierce, blood-soaked avatar, hinting at a dark narrative. He's seen screaming with his mouth wide open, face, neck, and hands smeared with blood and marked with cuts and bruises, dressed in a dark, partially unbuttoned shirt, accessorized with a belt, rings, bracelets, and a chain necklace.

The trailer is set to release today on January 10, 2026. O'Romeo marks another collaboration between Kapoor and Bhardwaj, known for their powerful cinema. The film is a modern dark adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet set in a violent world, exploring themes of love, obsession, rage, and betrayal.

The movie also stars Triptii Dimri as the female lead and promises a blend of stylized violence, poetic storytelling, and haunting music, hallmarks of Bhardwaj's signature style. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, O'Romeo will be released in theaters on February 13, 2026, coinciding with Valentine's Day.

This isn't the only project Shahid Kapoor is working on; he's also set to appear in Cocktail 2, alongside Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, with a September 2026 release date.
