Raja Saab exorbitant price hike request: Will TG government agree

All eyes are on Prabhas' The Raja Saab which is racing for a spectacular release on 9 January. Expectations are high on the project as Prabhas is starring in a horror thriller for the first time in his career. 

Ahead of the film release, the makers of The Raja Saab requested the Telangana government for price hike and they in their request promised to contribute 20% of the profits to MAA federation. 

The makers sought permission for 9 PM special shows on 8 January. They requested for Rs 1000 plus GST. From 9 January, the requested premium rates. 

Here's the ticket rates sought by the makers of The Raja Saab 

Premiere Show – January 8, 2026 (from 9 PM onwards)

Single Screens: ₹943

Multiplexes: ₹1,180

First Weekend – January 9 to January 11

Single Screens: ₹301

Multiplexes: ₹450

Festival Week – January 12 to January 18

Single Screens: ₹250

Multiplexes: ₹400
