Jana Nayagan lands in censor trouble

Thalapathy Vijay is set to show his power at the box office with his upcoming film Jana Nayagan. The film directed by H.Vinoth is releasing on 9 Jan 2026.

The film is releasing in Telugu as Jana Nayakudu and in Hindi as Jan Nayak. The makers will be celebrating the audio launch in a lavish manner in Malaysia.

Excitement is on the film as Jana Nayagan happens to be his last film. Now reports are coming that the film landed in censor trouble. Inside talk is the makers decided to approach the Revising Committee as the Censor Board members suggested many cuts.

Buzz is the film has many Anti Hindi dialogues and CBFC suggested many cuts. It has to be seen how the makers will be responding to the issue.

Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mamitha Baiju are playing important roles in the film. The music for the film is tuned by Anirudh Ravichander and KVN. Productions is bankrolling the project.
