Sivaji tries to justify his comments. Actor Sivaji who made controversial comments about the dressing of the women and also used cuss words, later tendered an apology with the wide spread criticism and also women organisations lodging complaint with the MAA demanding action against him.

When everything seems to be cooling down, Sivaji much to the shock of all tried to justify his comments. He said his comments were taken out of context and despite accepting his fault and mistake and promising to be more careful in future.

He tried to clarify what led to his earlier outburst and how certain issues behind the scenes had emotionally disturbed him. In the pressmeet which he decided to address the media over the controversy, he was flooded with flurry of questions.

Shivaji also appealed to media houses and social‑media users to stop circulating old clips in a way that fuels more hatred.
