Dhurandhar 2 Telugu Version Set for March 19

The Telugu version of Dhurandhar 2 is likely to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Hindi release. The decision follows the blockbuster success of the first part, which collected close to Rs 20 crore share in the Telugu states and is expected to touch Rs 30 crore plus. Ranveer Singh's performance, alongside Akshaye Khanna's impactful role, emerged as a major highlight.

Industry sources indicate that Telugu audiences have lapped up the action-adventure, prompting the team to reconsider its release strategy for the sequel. The film has struck a strong chord with viewers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The intense Pakistan-based storyline also resonated with non-Hindi audiences 

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has already raked in over ₹870 crore globally. Its third Sunday even outdid opening day earnings, showing excitement is building. With an undercover mission in Karachi at its core, the story has clearly struck a chord. Ranveer Singh breathed life into his role, and the performances elevated the film further.

Makers decided to release Telugu dubbed version on December 19 but they backed on distributor feedback that Hindi version has been watched by it's targeted audience. So, they prefer simultaneous release for the sequel. The buzz comes on the heels of the original Dhurandhar's huge success since its December debut.
