The Devil, starring Darshan, is set to hit theaters on December 11, 2025, amidst controversy surrounding the actor's alleged involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy. Despite being in prison, Darshan's fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release. The trailer has already generated buzz, showcasing Darshan's complex character with a possible alter personality.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Achyuth Kumar, Rachana Rai, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Sharmiela Mandre. Produced by J Jayamma of Shri Jaimatha Combines, in collaboration with Saregama Yodlee Films, The Devil promises to be an action packed thriller with a political subplot. The production team includes Prakash as the scriptwriter, Kantharaj SS as the dialogue writer, and Ajaneesh Loknath as the music composer.

The Devil's production team has worked tirelessly to bring this project to life. The action sequences have been choreographed by Ram-Lakshman, while Santhu Master handled the dance numbers. Harish Komme is in charge of editing, and Mohan B Kere serves as art director.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Darshan has faced controversy during a film release. In 2011, his movie Saarathi was released while he was in jail for a domestic abuse case, and it went on to have a successful 100 day run in theaters.
